About me
Hello, my name is Victor and I am from Cabarete, Dominican Republic. I have been surfing all my life and today I get the chance to teach what I love the most: surfing!
I think being in the ocean is the best therapy anyone can get... inside and out!
My goal is to share with you my passion and hopefully one day you will be able to surf alone anywhere in the world.

Playa Encuentro offers waves all year round so it can be a good place to learn any time of the year.

If you visit Cabarete, Sosua or Puerto Plata area, your visit won't be complete without passing by Playa Encuentro and take a surf lesson with me! I would make sure you have a good time, all this in security.

Surf lessons & Prices
1 DAY SURF LESSON
Learn the basic principles of surfing, like positioning on the board, paddling techniques, catch your own wave and of course stand up.
Surfboards are included in the price. You can also keep it for the day to practice.
45 $US per person for 2 hours
RENT A BOARD ONLY
If you already know how to surf and want to enjoy the waves by yourself.

To get better, you need practice!

Taking lessons for more than a day is a good idea.
